Arctic Shipping AS is a subsidiary of Arctic Securities AS. The company was established in August 2016 as the Arctic Group's shipbroking division. The company currently employs a staff of 16. We are an independent shipbroker with in-depth shipping knowledge enabling us to serve and optimise our clients’ shipping strategies.

In 2023, Arctic Shipping opened an Tokyo Branch and expanded our presence in Hamburg within the existing Arctic Securities office, to enhance Arctic's maritime expertise and reach further. The offices will extend Arctic Shipping’s reach into the Japanese and German shipping markets, as well as other central European countries. Our branch offices collaborate closely with the rest of the Arctic shipping team.

Shipbroking

Arctic Shipping specialises in the international shipbroking market with a key focus on newbuilding and secondhand brokerage within most asset classes including the tanker, drybulk, container, chemical and gas segments, in addition to period chartering and project business within these segments.

In addition to the pure traditional sale and purchase and newbuilding brokerage services, Arctic Shipping AS also offers our clients access to expertise within market analysis as well as corporate and project finance for shipping investments.
