BEWi Group AB - SEK 400m equity financing

Arctic Securities has acted as financial advisor to BEWi Group AB in connection with the acquisition of Synbra and a SEK 400m equity financing

Bewi Group is a leading Nordic manufacturer of EPS (expandable polystyrene) for use in insulation and packaging. Bewi has entered into an agreement to acquire Synbra from Gilde, its private equity owner

  • Synbra is a leading European EPS player with production located in the Netherlands (HQ), Denmark and Portugal
  • Synbra to be acquired at an enterprise value of EUR 117.5 million
  • BEWi plans to finance the acquisition by a bond issue of up to SEK 750 million and SEK 400 million in new equity
  • Completion of the transaction is subject regulatory approvals and BEWi successfully completing the bond issue
