Halvor Dybdahl, Research

Studying at NHH, completed the second year of a bachelor's degree in economics and administration.

– I work with seafood alongside Christian Olsen Nordby. More specifically, land-based farming, and the various listed players. I am currently working on a presentation that goes through the listed Norwegian players.

Halvor

"This summer, I want to gain a better insight into the industry, and especially how the land-based industry is developing."

– As a result of biological problems in recent years, the industry has been forced to rethink, which has resulted in the development of land-based and offshore farming. Although these technologies have not reached commercial scale, there is a good probability that the salmon industry will face a major shift in the next five years.

Karina Rønning, Investment Banking

Studying at NHH, one year left of a master's in finance.

– I am part of the generalist team, where I take part in various meetings, create materials for pitches, and follow transactions that take place. I have my own sponsor and was well received. At Arctic, I want to learn a lot and gain insights into a variety of sectors.

– In investment banking, financial insights help you understand societal developments to a greater extent. I personally think that is one of the biggest advantages of the financial industry in general!

Karina

"For me, an internship is mainly about learning and contributing both professionally and socially to a great working environment."

Marius Andersen, Research

Studying at NHH, completed the second year of a bachelor's degree in economics and administration.

– I work in the oil service sector together with Ole Berg. Here, I create fleet overviews and take a closer look at the market and selected companies. I am surrounded by great colleagues who are good at teaching and answering my questions.

I want to continue working within this field in the future. I am very grateful and look forward to being able to contribute and learn as much as possible from some of the best in the industry here at Arctic.

Marius

– I am focusing on shipping in the research department. I want to learn more about valuing companies and how a brokerage evaluates and values a stock. Not least what the investors value upon making decisions.

– I would like to work as an analyst in the longer term, preferably within shipping. The combination of analysis and customer contact seems very exciting. I look forward to getting to know other experienced employees within the industry.
